Different Skin. Different Routine.

Know Your Skin Type

OILY - Oil on your skin 24/7 due to the overactive oil glands

COMBINATION - If you have an oily forehead and nose but dry cheeks, you have combination skin.

DRY - If your skin feels tight and dry, it means it is producing less natural oils.

SENSITIVE - When your skin reacts to various factors like weather changes or beauty products (ranging from mild to severe), it is sensitive.

OILY & COMBINATION SKIN

Heat and humidity are not your friends. It's harsh, especially on oily and combination skin types. The skin tends to be oilier because of the overproduction from sebaceous glands.

The best routine is to always use a Purifying Face Cleanser with which doesn't strip all the natural oil away and includes some conditioning ingredients. An amino acid blend in the cleanser is also useful which keeps the skin firm and smooth while balancing out oil production. Leave the cleanser on for about 30 seconds (which no one really does) but it is the best way to let the ingredients absorb and take effect.

Use a retinol based serum immediately after drying the skin. Along with some hyaluronic acid to slightly moisturize skin cells, the retinol increases new skin cell formation while also helping to fade dark spots resulting from photo-aging, hyperpigmentation, hormonal changes, and blemish scars.

No cream or lotion is needed during the day unless it is a sunscreen, but during sleeping hours, a Regenerative Face Cream is highly recommended. One with hydrating and noncomedogenic (non-pore clogging). This help to release the skin from the daily, environmental stresses like pollution, dehydration, Only use a small amount of cream over your face and neck.

 DRY SKIN

The best routine is to always use a Purifying Face Cleanser with which includes some conditioning ingredients. An amino acid blend in the cleanser is also useful which keeps the skin hydrated smooth. Leave the cleanser on for about 30 seconds (which no one really does) but it is the best way to let the ingredients absorb and take effect.
Using carrier oils in your skincare is the best option, especially in the winter months. Carrier oils are fast absorbing oils which quickly absorb into the skin and do not leave a topical, greasy feel. The top Carrier Oils are;

Jojoba Oil
Rosehip Oil
Argan Oil (Preferably Organic)

Use one pump of a Hyper-Conditioning Multi-Use Oil, which includes these three carrier oils in the morning and once again before going to bed.
Instead of using the oil before going to bed, a high carrier oil moisturizing Face Cream can be used to regenerated dry skin cells.

    SENSITIVE SKIN

Use products with organic, botanical ingredients like witch hazel extract and aloe vera leaf juice-based products which are gentle and won’t irritate your skin. All of Anti-Vice products do not contain added water as it can over dry the skin. Only use a small amount of product when cleansing, adding a serum and cream to the routine.
