The golden hour rays, prematurely shined through the window of my room at the O resort in North Goa, India. The morning was a blur as my phone rang in my suit jacket pocket. Damn. What time is it? The wedding starts in an hour; my suit is in shambles, and while I'm still trying to understand how the memory of my night before was like a Kubrick film, I look up into the mirror at my dismay. This was a moment of clarity.
Moments of clarity happen to each of us at least once and can come at any point in time. Well, it might be clear what you need to do, the difficulty is following it through. The clearest path to execute that plan, some say, is the recipe for success. Well, have enough of these 'moments' and you'll see what crystal clear looks like.
GOA Skincare began from a collective of moments that made it what it is today. And it so happens that that's where it focuses on supporting its members. Those collective moments which send us to different countries for work or to live, make certain decisions, and create those pivotal moments of clarity. In doing so, you can say GOA represents all of our stories, and the need to become what we think is successful.
GOA does this by breaking down the physical to the emotional. The ingredients and tools needed to meticulously flight off that which can, ultimately, cause emotional distress. To do this, the science behind the madness needs to be in check. What are our pain points, our fears, needs, wants? Which hormones do what to which part of the skin, and how is cortisol involved in the breakdown of our skin's foundation? Moreover, how can I communicate our goals with our members?
This is the past, present, and future of GOA. Always learning, always fighting for success, just like our members.
