Under Eye Guide

For most men, skin care and grooming are a simple task. Soap, scrub, wash, done. But the modern man wants to live better while retaining his lifestyle. To gain access to maximum living while under stress, fatigue, sun exposure while enjoying the vices, there needs to be a result driven component to the morning routine. Like a need for a faster car, better leather jacket, upgraded prestige watch, etc, a higher-impact product must be acquired. As the devil is in the details the thin, delicate skin under the eye can make or break a meeting. So consider the effects of years of sun, pollution and excess vice intake on the skin. Whether men are 21 or 65, the effects like wrinkles, dark circles, and inflammation must be looked after and eliminated.

There are simple ways to diminish fatigue under the eye:

1. Apply Heat.  With a hot, damp towelette, cover your eyes for about 2 minutes. Apply a thin layer of an antioxidant facial gel or anything with Witch Hazel and Hydrolyzed Proteins like a detox facial cleanser. Let it sit for about 2 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

2. Regular use of an under eye gel. As creams can be too oily, a gel can hold more concentrated extracts and pass through the delicate skin of the under eye. Products containing 1-1.7% Retinol, Vitamin C, Anti-Oxidants and Polypeptides, like GOA Skincare Alpha-Cell Under eye boost, are key to diminish or eliminate fine expression lines and sagging skin. When getting less sleep apply twice daily. Once in the morning after the shower and once before bed.

3. Ice cold gel. As a weekly eye mask (using the same under eye gel), place the gel in the freezer for 20 minutes. After you have used a hot damp cloth on your eyes and the under eye gel is ice cold: Use a generous amount under the eye for 10 to 15 minutes. This constricts the blood vessels and reduces the puffiness. Clean with the same hot towelette and apply a serum that includes a botanical hyaluronic acid to moisturize the area while protecting it like the Collagen+Control Serum. Serums also include higher concentrations of extracts and compounds that absorb easier through the skin.
